Lake Tahoe after a winters snow is quite a place. This picture was taken last weeekend and is on the South shore, looking west towards Emerald Bay and Mount Tallac. The lake is the largest alpine lake in California and with a large amount of snow in the Winter offers many ski resorts.
I ended up buying a ski pass at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort this weekend and me and some friends had a blast in the 3 feet of fresh powder. I’ll put up some more pictures tomorrow showing more of the lake and the great friends I have made in the area. I just can’t get enough of the Sierras, but now I head back to San Francisco and the Californian coast for this week. See you soon!
