Golden Gate Bridge with ships

This shot was taken this evening as a friend and I were hiking along the bay. What struck me was that American consumerism seems to be alive and well unfortunately as these ships full of cheap Chinese goods slip under the Golden Gate bridge and into the San Francisco bay and into the port of Oakland to be delivered to the people of California and the rest of the Western US.


I do see one ship full of Silicon Valley electronics such as iPads, etc heading out too though.

Just thought it was a nice shot and a great walk today. It was a beautiful day on the coast of California today. Summer’s here early 🙂
